With the opening of a new office in Paris, Qvest Media further expands its business operations in France and the Benelux countries. Mesclado team joins Qvest Media France.

Qvest Media expands its location and opens its first office in Switzerland.

The RAG-Stiftung Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH invests in Qvest Media and becomes shareholder of the group besides Peter Nöthen. The successful management of Qvest Media remains within the company.

2015

As part of the global growth strategy, Wellen+Nöthen, Qvest Media Dubai and Qvest Media Singapore are united under the brand Qvest Media. The harmonisation in communication simultaneously ensures greater transparency towards customers and suppliers and a shared identification for employees worldwide.

2014

Qvest Media receives the distinguished industry award "MENA System Integrator 2014" at the ASBU BroadcastPro media summit. The jury praises the outstanding role of the system integrator as general contractor in several infrastructure projects in the MENA region.

Another site is opened in Munich to look after customers in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland more quickly and more effectively.

Wellen+Nöthen Ventures is founded as holding company for start-ups from the media industry.

With the foundation of another site in Singapore, the Wellen+Nöthen Group opens up the APAC region.

Wellen+Nöthen expands its operations as a leading technology service provider in the media industry and founds the new Consulting & Development business unit.

The company receives the "Systems Integrator of the Year" award for outstanding services in the area of system integration.

The Group grows to more than 100 employees.

The German broadcaster Südwestrundfunk awards an enormous project to Wellen+Nöthen with the new construction of its tapeless production infrastructure. The showpiece project attracts a number of comparable orders from international customers.

The company receives the "Best Technology Implementation of the Year" award for the Al Jazeera Sports project in Doha, Qatar.

2008

Founding of Qvest Media Dubai as part of the Wellen+Nöthen Group, based in Dubai Media City. Success in the MENA region quickly materialises, and after the initial focus on the distribution of high-end technology, the first large projects soon follow in the area of system integration.

2006

Football World Cup in our own country: Wellen+Nöthen is right in the middle of the action and equips ARD & ZDF for live reporting with a file-based production platform.

2006

Wellen+Nöthen equips ARD and ZDF with extensive broadcast and media technology at the Winter Olympics in Turin. A success story that continues to the present day, by now covering the Summer Olympics, the Football World Cup and other major sporting events.

2001

Wellen+Nöthen expands and opens another site in the aspiring media metropolis of Berlin, in addition to its headquarters in Cologne.

1995

The company expands its service portfolio and establishes the Rental Solutions & Services business unit.

1991

Gunnar Wellen and Peter Nöthen found the company Wellen+Nöthen, initially focusing on the trade and distribution of professional media technology.
