IT Support Engineer (f/m/o)Location: Berlin, Cologne, Halle (Saale); full time

As IT Support Engineer you are responsible for the maintenance, configuration and support of our 24/7 automation solutions for the international media and broadcast market. As First Level and Second Level Support you are the point of contact for our customers and manage their issues and requests. Your diverse and demanding tasks also include the installation and commissioning of our playout servers and the associated software, all developed in-house. Since you are in direct contact with our customers, you also form the interface between our customers and our development department. Your Tasks - diverse and technological

  • Analyze, handle and troubleshoot customer requests in first and second level support for our 24/7 broadcast automation software
  • Self-responsible capture, documentation and processing of requests on the basis of a ticket system
  • Installation, configuration and commissioning of hardware and software, also on site at the customer's premises
  • Intermediary between the service desk and the development team
  • Taking care of on-call duty

Your Profile - analytic and organized

  • Successfully completed studies or comparable professional experience in the field of software engineering
  • Profound network knowledge (DHCP, IP, TCP/UDP, DNS etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows Server, Windows 10) and Linux
  • Database knowledge (MS-SQL, MySQL) and the SQL language
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong ability to work in a team and flexibility, as well as a high level of goal-driven motivation and customer orientatio
