Senior Purchasing and Partner Manager (f/m/o)Location: Cologne, full time

As Senior Purchasing and Partner Manager, you are the primary contact person for our industry partners. The focus is set on all matters concerning the reselling of the partner´s products and services. A significant part of the job involves our new cloud management platform Qvest.Cloud into which 3rd party products and solutions will be integrated.

The role incorporates job responsibilities and duties broader than Qvest.Cloud. In this position, you will manage the whole range of partner relationships, from the initial contact to organisations, leading meetings between Qvest Media's technical and sales teams to contract negotiations, launch and ongoing partner management. The role demands a strong commercial acumen while at the same time you should be comfortable in having technical discussions with our most tech-savvy partners.

Your field of activity – cutting-edge

  • Spark interest of potential partners for our cloud management platform Qvest.Cloud
  • Guide new partners through the onboarding process and negotiate contracts with support of our legal department
  • Work with partners to define a suitable commercial model with mutual benefits on revenue and profits
  • Introduce KPIs and conduct analyses on the state of partnerships and partner success
  • Develop an attractive partner membership program in collaboration with the management team
  • Develop the partner marketing strategy and tactics in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders, primarily Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Legal
  • Oversee any need of Qvest Media’s staff to be trained/certified in partner products
  • Manage all operational communication with partners and act as an ambassador of Qvest.Cloud´s product management team

Your profile – well-spoken IT professional

  • A degree in business studies
  • Experience in the IT industry (preferably: media industry) with at least 2 years in partner management, business development or similar
  • A proven track record in purchasing
  • Experience with light coding and understanding on how to interact with 3rd party applications is a prerequisite
  • Assertiveness, resilience and persuasiveness
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to assess business opportunities; Consulting or technical background is a plus
  • Ability to be coachable, interested in implementing feedback and dedicated to consistently improving your craft
  • Team skills and an independent approach to working in a hands-on environment
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and abroad
