To expand its international news network, Al Jazeera commissioned Qvest Media with the overall construction of a new broadcast station in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo. The project covered the set-up of a state-of-the-art production platform, including the implementation of the associated studio, and the live broadcasting capacities. Next to the technical design of architecture, planning, system integration and commissioning, we also implemented a tailored IPTV solution in order to integrate the new facility into Al Jazeera’s international in-house network.
With a news facility based on Mosart’s newscasting automation, Qvest Media integrated a solution that ensures the interoperability between all studio components like video switchers, news production systems, vision mixers, video servers, graphics systems and camera robotics systems guarantee a smooth workflow in all operation areas.
